Conducting power, signals and data is the classic requirement in electrical engineering and control cabinet building / switchgear construction. The relevant characteristics are the cross-section (rated cross-section), the insulating material, the connection technology, the type of mounting (for DIN rail or direct mounting on the mounting plate) and the design of the terminals such as the thru terminal block (in the colors grey, blue, green, orange, red, yellow, dark beige, etc.), the protective earth terminal block (ground in green-yellow) or also fuse terminal blocks (black).
With the use of a 2-wire feed through terminal, 3-wire feed through terminal or 4-wire feed through terminal, one or more wires can be brought together and/or connected. They can have one or more connection levels / floors, which are on the same potential or separated from each other. The product portfolio includes feed-through terminal blocks, multi-wire terminal blocks, multi-level terminal blocks such as double-level terminal blocks, three-level terminal blocks or level terminal blocks.
SNAP IN increases productivity and safety in control cabinet building, increases speed and is ready for automated wiring.
The portfolio with SNAP IN technology covers a wide range of functions and applications for control cabinet construction in the cross-section ranges from 0.5 - 16 mm². This includes feed-through and PE terminal blocks, as well as disconnect and fuse terminal blocks.
Where installation depth is low, the lateral conductor entry has decisive advantages, because the conductors can be connected without space-consuming bending. Wiring can be carried out very clearly and in a very confined space.
The integrated test tap for standard test probes facilitates maintenance processes and troubleshooting. The wire entry on the side increases clarity and makes the terminal accessible for test systems even when wired.
Due to the lateral conductor entry, markings and functional areas remain easily recognisable even when wired. Maintenance and repair processes can thus be carried out more easily, safely and quickly.
As an integral part of the A-Series, the extensive range of accessories can also be used with the new modular terminal blocks. This facilitates the duplication of potentials via cross-connections and reduces ordering and storage costs.

On the website Engineering Data you will find an extensive selection of downloads related to CAT data. For the quick integration of our products into your design, a wide range of digital product data is available for engineering systems such as EPLAN (EPLAN Electric P8 and EPLAN Pro Panel), Zuken E3.series, WSCAD and many others. These data allow a precise representation of 2-wire, 3-wire, 4-wire feed-through terminal blocks, multi-wire terminal blocks, multi-level terminal blocks such as double-level terminal blocks, three-level terminal blocks or level terminal blocks in 3D and show all relevant electrotechnical and business features.
