Main line branch terminals for Din rails are suitable for the internal installation of electric meter cabinets. The narrow and finger-safe branch terminal with a construction width of 17.8 mm corresponds to one subdistribution unit ("TE"). Contact-safe product variants from 1-pole to 5-pole can be flexibly configured or ordered directly.
Thanks to the special coating of the brass body, copper conductors and aluminum conductors can be connected in the main line branch terminal. Approvals according to VDE, UL and IEC enable use in further industrial sectors and international markets.
The main line branch terminals can be installed horizontally and vertically on the DIN rail thanks to the special mounting foot.
Latching lugs on the sides of the main line branch terminal blocks allow them to latch together. Additional stability and a distribution of the occurring mechanical forces can thus be distributed over the entire terminal rail and mounting rail.
Different color variants for the respective potential are available for clear wiring of the main line branch terminals. For the three phases black, brown and gray. Blue for the neutral conductor, and green for the ground conductor.
The compact brass core of the main line branch terminals with its special coating enables the connection of round and sector-shaped copper and aluminum wires. The screw drive with fine thread facilitates the transmission of high torques and the turned screw head ensures evenly distributed forces on the conductor.
The main line branch terminals meet the more stringent standard requirements. The requirements for the branch terminals relate, for example, to a dielectric strength of 3000 volts or an increased CTI value for creepage resistance.
The corrosion protection for the steel screws used for the main line branch terminals is verified with the certificate. Standard-compliant and finger-safe wiring of small distribution boards for house and building installation technology can be realized easily and safely thanks to the main line branch terminals.
