“The latest directive states at least IP 54, although up until now protection degree IP 50 was sufficient for two-pole voltage testers. We bettered that by offering products that are sealed to IP 65 standard. This means, complete sealing against dust, which is a great advantage on building sites,” said Andreas Giese, product manager, when explaining one merit of the Weidmüller tester.
“Apart from our voltage testers completely meeting this requirement, they also meet category IV at 400 V," Giese went onto explain. "Installers no longer have to worry as to whether our testers are usable in their case: Quite simply, they are usable for all over-voltage categories.”
